§ Mr. CarmichaelWe have received the report of the Transport Users Consultative Committee on the hardship that might arise from the closure of the Central Wales Line. We are considering the report on this very complex proposal in conjunction with all the other relevant factors. Before reaching a decision we will consult the Secretary of State for Wales and take full account of the views of the Welsh Council when we receive them.
