§ Mr. Cledwyn HughesCanned meat imported into this country must originate from an establishment which complies with our health requirements and be 127W accompanied by an official certificate from the competent authority of the country in question. The competent authority is responsible for ensuring that the meat derives from satisfactory sources, and periodic visits of inspection are made by officers of my Department.
