§ Mr. K. RobinsonIn England and Wales, the number of deaths from respiratory tuberculosis fell from 19,800 in 1947 to 2,000 in 1965 (minus 17,800) whilst the number of deaths from cancer of the lung and bronchus rose from 9,300 in 1947 to 26,400 in 1965 (plus 17,100).
