§ Mr. RossApproximate figures for 1967–68 were in Glasgow £38 10s., in Edinburgh £31 3s., in Dundee £29 16s. and in Aberdeen £30 17s. After deducting rates paid in respect of industrial and commercial properties, the average rate burden per head of population was in Glasgow £14 9s.. in Edinburgh £15, in Dundee £14 and in Aberdeen £13 15s.
