§ Mr. Braineasked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Affairs whether under his regulations, a resident of Southern Rhodesia not born in the United Kingdom, who holds a Southern Rhodesian passport but does not have dual nationality, is now stateless unless and until he comes under one of the categories of persons to whom Her Majesty's Government retain the power to issue United Kingdom passports in lieu of invalidated Southern Rhodesian passports.
