§ 47. Mr. Robert Cookeasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will give a list of those of Her Majesty's prisons situated in urban areas, together with the area of land occupied by each, the estimated value of the land and the present owner of the freehold, together with any special conditions of ownership or tenure which may apply to particular cases.

The provisions of Section 38 of the Prison Act, 1952, apply to all these prisons except Brixton, Kirkham, Lancaster, Norwich, Pentonville and Wormwood Scrubs.
