Dame Irene Wardasked the Minister of Health if he will now state his future policy with regard to state-registered nurses who take their midwifery or any further nursing qualification; and if he will give an assurance that salary incentives for increased skills will be introduced and that state-registered nurses on attaining additional qualifications will not incur a reduction of salary.
