§ Mr. Geoffrey Lloydasked the Minister of Health whether, in view of the findings of a group of scientists in the Scripps Clinic in California, as reported in Volume 219, 68 1968 of Nature, details of which have been sent to him, he will order a study of the biological consequences of ingesting aspirin.
§ Mr. K. RobinsonThese reported findings are of scientific interest and will no doubt be followed up by research workers; but the possible side-effects of aspirin are well known to doctors, and I do not consider that there is need for a Government-sponsored study.
