§ Mr. William RodgersThe number of persons holding current private pilot licences at 30th June, 1968, for aeroplanes was 11,381 and for helicopters was 152. In the earlier years there were no separate helicopter pilot licences; the numbers of private pilot licences were 4,376, 6,602 and 7,815 respectively at the end of these calendar years.
