§ Miss BaconA new school intended both to replace St. James's and to serve a new housing estate was originally programmed for 1968-69. For various reasons, including delay in the development of the estate and difficulty over a site, it has been deferred. But I understand that the authority will now be submitting a case for a start on building the new school in 1969–70.
