Mr. Pounder

asked the Postmaster General (1) what was the total sum new savings invested in the Ordinary Department and Special Department respectively, of the Post Office Savings Bank during the first three months of 1968; and what were the corresponding figures for the first three months of 1967;

(2) what was the total sum of new savings invested in the Ordinary Department end Special Department, respectively, of the Post Office Savings Bank during the second quarter of 1968; and
