Friends the Secretary of State for Scotland and the Secretary of State for the Home Department and I have now received the Committee's Report and arrangements are being made for it to be printed and published as soon as possible. We are very grateful to Lord Donaldson and to the members of the Committee for their hard work in producing a thorough Report. We are considering the Committee's conclusions and we shall be asking interested persons and organisations for their comments on the recommendations as soon as the Report is published.
