§ Mr. HattersleyFollowing discussions with representatives of the parties concerned, my right hon. Friend has set up a court of inquiry into the dispute between the British Steel Corporation and the Clerical and Administrative Workers' Union and the Association of Technical Supervisory and Managerial Staffs. I understand that normal working has today been resumed pending the outcome of the inquiry.
§ 63. Sir M. Galpernasked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity how many manual workers in the steel industry in Scotland have withdrawn their labour in support of the claim of staff members to be represented by a trade union of their own choice.
§ Mr. HattersleyI understand that in Scotland 280 manual workers withdrew their labour in protest against the suspension by management of clerical workers who staged a one-day strike.
