§ Mr. Brian Parkynasked the President of the Board of Trade whether, in view of the importance of good industrial design to aid exports, he will increase the annual grant made to the Council of Industrial Design.
§ Mr. DellThe annual grant to the Council of Industrial Design has more than doubled over the last five years. The Council have thereby been able to give greater encouragement to good modern design generally, and are currently undertaking a major "Design for Export" campaign.
