§ Mr. EnnalsUnder the Oil Heaters Regulations, 1962, as amended in 1966, oil heaters must satisfy a number of requirements designed to ensure their348W safe performance and construction, to minimise the effects of accidental spillage, and to warn the public (by means of a permanent label) against unsafe practices in use. It is an offence to sell in the course of a business any domestic oil heater, whether new or secondhand, which does not comply with these Regulations.
