§ Mr. Hugh D. Brownasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what action has been taken to carry out a study of the advantages and disadvantages of living in multi-storey flats.
§ Mr. RossFollowing its sub-committee's report on "Housing Management in Scotland", paragraphs 190–205 of which refer to some problems of multi-storey housing, the Scottish Housing Advisory Committee is taking a close interest in a research study into this question which is being carried out by the Department of Social and Economic Research of the University of Glasgow. The Committee has decided that it should not undertake any separate investigation until the results of the study are known.
