§ Mrs. Ewingasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will take steps to prevent misleading labelling of goods as to country of manufacture so that goods made in Scotland, England and Wales, respectively, are clearly labelled accordingly.
§ Mr. DarlingIt is an offence to mark goods with any false or misleading indication as to the place or country in which they were made or produced. There is nothing to prevent manufacturers in these countries from marking their products with the country of origin.
