§ Mr. Websterasked the Minister of Transport why she made two Statutory Instruments, the Motor Vehicles (Construction and Use) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1967 (S.I., 1967, No. 1665) and the Motor Vehicles (Construction and Use) (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations 1967 (S.I., 1967, No. 1666), in view of the fact that the problems involved could be dealt with in one document; and what was the additional cost involved.
§ Mr. CarmichaelBecause provisions now in S.I., 1967, No. 1666 had not been finally settled when it was judged that printing of S.I., 1967, No. 1665 must be put in hand if the target operative date were not to be endangered.
It is unlikely that there was any additional cost.
