§ Mr. Ian Lloydasked the Minister of Health why his Department have taken 14 months to give a decision on the Home Help Service matters referred to him by Havant Council.
§ Mr. SnowI regret that this has taken so long, but my right hon. Friend did not wish to determine the dispute between Havant Urban District Council and Hampshire County Council without making every effort to secure its resolution by agreement. Now that these efforts have failed an early reply will be sent to the Havant Council.
