§ 72. Mr. William Hamiltonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list in the OFFICIAL REPORT the number of houses built for public authorities and for private ownership, respectively, in each of the last 12 years, and his estimate of completions for the year ended 31st December, 1967.
§ Mr. Ross41,458 houses were completed in Scotland in 1967—an all-time record. Of these, 33,960 were for public authorities and 7,498 for private ownership. The figures for the previous 12 years are as follows:
