§ Mr. Longdenasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what further progress has been made with implementing the proposals made in September, 1964 for the more accurate and informative labelling of food.
§ Mr. HoyThe majority of these proposals, which were contained in the Food Standards Committee's Report on Food Labelling, have been implemented in the Labelling of Food Regulations, 1967. These were laid before the House on 21st December, 1967.
