§ Mr. David Priceasked the Minister of Technology whether he will publish details of the savings on planned expenditure in his Department of £13 million in 1968–69 and £15 million in 1969–70. and whether the planned expenditure includes prospective expenditure under the terms of the Industrial Expansion Bill.
§ Mr. BennThe areas in which savings will be made and the priorities being followed are shown in Paragraph 48 of the White Paper on Public Expenditure. The figures there provide for existing150W commitments on the programmes covered by Clauses 9, 10 and 11 of the Industrial Expansion Bill, but do not provide for future industrial investment schemes which may be submitted to Parliament.
