HC Deb 23 January 1968 vol 757 cc94-5W
Q7. Mr. William Hamilton

asked the Prime Minister if he will make a statement on his talks with President Johnson during his recent visit to Australia.

Mr. George Brown

I have been asked to reply.

My right hon. Friend had a useful and friendly, though necessarily brief, exchange of views with President Johnson, but the content of their discussions must of course remain confidential. I would remind my hon. Friend that my right hon. Friend will be visiting Washington on 8th and 9th February for fuller talks with the President.
