asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will make a further statement on the proposed Farm Animals Welfare Committee.

§ Mr. Hoy
The Farm Animal Welfare Advisory Committee was set up in July, 1967. Its membership and terms of reference were announced in my right hon. Friend's reply to the hon. Member for Norfolk, North (Mr. Hazell) on 25th July, 1967, and in a Press notice issued on that day.
The Committee held its first meeting on 13th October, 1967.—[Vol. 751, c. 119–20.]
