HC Deb 22 January 1968 vol 757 c4W
44. Mr. Richard Mitchell

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what progress has been made with the setting up of the Anglo-Soviet Consultative Committee.

Mr. William Rodgers

An Exchange of Notes has been arranged to take place in Moscow this morning to establish the Committee formally.

I am glad to say that Sir Humphrey Trevelyan has agreed to serve as Chairman of the British Group. I hope to be able to announce the names of the other members of the Group shortly.
