Mr. Clifford Williamsasked the Secretary of State for Wales what affects the proposed cuts in expenditure will have on the roads programme in Monmouthshire.
§ Mr. Ifor Davies:There will be no cut in major trunk and principal road schemes. Any cuts in small schemes and schemes on minor roads will be largely under the control of the local authorities themselves.
