§ Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Prime Minister, in view of the work and support from five European nations for Great Britain's application to join the European Economic Community, if he will consult those five and also countries other than the five on measures whereby Great Britain can assist the expansion of 668W the size, shape, power and world appeal of what is at present the European Economic Community.
§ The Prime Minister:We are already in consultation with the Five and with other European nations in accordance with the policy described by my right hon. Friend the Foreign Secretary in his Statement to the House on 20th December.
