§ Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Secretary of State for Economic Affairs what plans he has to negative and alter the unequal distribution of trade, industry and economic effort and activity in Great Britain and to encourage trade, industry and employment in Great Britain's sparsely populated areas.
Mr. Alan Williams:It is the aim of the Government's existing regional policies to spread adequate employment opportunities throughout the country.
