Schemes in these conurbations were included in the list of programmed schemes given in the report "Roads in England" for the year ended 31st March, 1967. My right hon. Friend has approved the extensions of the list for Tyneside and West Midlands as shown attached.

We hope to announce fairly shortly an extension of the list for Greater London.
