64. Mr. Edward M. Taylorasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will now announce the numbers of murders which took place in Scotland in 1967; and if he will give the comparable figures for each of the last five years.
§ Mr. Ross:It is provisionally estimated that there were 41 cases of murder made known to the police in 1967. The figures for 1962 to 1966 are 27, 16, 27, 32 and 30.
