§ Mr. Harold LeverExcluding casual staff, 63,228 on 1st February, 1968, an increase of 2,304 since 1st February, 1967. About 1,735,500 hours overtime were292W worked in 1967. The Department as a whole is under heavy pressure but arrears have been kept within manageable bounds.
