§ 92. Mr. Dalyellasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will give details of the visits by senior Treasury officials to defence research establishments such as the Royal Aircraft Establishment, Farnborough, to inquire into those matters for which his Department is directly responsible.
§ Mr. Harold LeverTreasury staff inspectors, management specialists and computer experts visit defence research establishments to carry out specific assignments. Other Treasury officials pay visits, as pressure of work permits, to learn about the work of these establishments.
