§ Mr. Thorpeasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he will request the Committee of Inquiry under the Chairmanship of the Duke of Northumberland to give him an interim report on the advisability or otherwise of lifting the ban on meat imports so that he may take their views into account before taking his own decision in this matter.
