§ Mr. MasonNo exclusive rights in respect of CS itself are vested in Her Majesty's Government and it is not developed at the Microbiological Research Establishment, Porton. Riot-control apparatus suitable as a container for anti-riot agents such as CS is the subject of United Kingdom patent 967660 of 1960, but it is not patented in the United States. In neither case, therefore, does the question of a licence arise.
