§ Mr. Blakerasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what estimate he has made of the number of fire engines which will have to be bought by fire brigades throughout the country on the disbandment of the Auxiliary Fire Service in order to replace the Auxiliary Fire Service engines which have hitherto stood by as second-line appliances for regular brigades.
