§ Mr. Swainasked the Minister of Power what changes there have been in the design of advanced gas-cooled reactor power stations since the appraisal of the Dungeness B station was published in July 1965; and what estimate he has made of the effect the changes will have on the costs of this and succeeding advanced gas-cooled reactor stations.
§ Mr. MarshDetails of design are a matter for the C.E.G.B. but my hon. Friend may like to refer to the evidence given to the Select Committee on Science and Technology which has been published at Appendix 15 to the Committee's Report (H.C. 381—XVII). I understand that the C.E.G.B.'s estimates of costs which I have recently quoted in reply to Questions take account of design changes.
