§ Q12. Mr. Dalyellasked the Prime Minister if he will raise with President Johnson the question of the United States Government regulations whereby United States-owned firms in Great Britain are prevented from exporting a wide range of goods to the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe.
§ The Prime MinisterWe are in regular touch with the United States Administration on a wide range of trade matters but have no evidence that the particular aspect of United States law to which my hon. Friend's Question relates has any significant impact on United Kingdom export performance. My right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade would, however, be ready to consider any particular case which my hon. Friend may have in mind.
