§ Mr. Geoffrey Lloydasked the Minister of Health whether, in view of the sharp increase in death from asthma, he will publicise the possible danger from the excessive use of drug-containing aerosols.
§ Mr. K. RobinsonThe Committee on Safety of Drugs issued a leaflet in June, 1967 warning doctors of the risk of over-dosage. They also held a press conference. At the Committee's request manufacturers are including a suitable warning on aerosol containers and are prepar- 145W ing leaflets for doctors to give to patients when prescribing aerosols. I am not contemplating further action at present.
