§ The Prime MinisterThe hon. Member will know that estimation of the cost of answering Parliamentary Questions is an imprecise art. On the basis of staff costs, however, the reply to the Question he has in mind cost about£35. The hon. Member may also know that the average staff cost of replying to an oral Question, including his present one to me, is calculated at something over£10.
