§ Mr. Cledwyn HughesIn the time available it is only possible to give this information for bodies for which provision has been made in Welsh Office votes for payments, during the current financial year. They are the following:
- Council of Museums in Wales.
- National Library of Wales.
- National Museum of Wales.
- Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.
- University of Wales Press Board (acting as agents for the Secretary of State).
- Development Corporation for Wales. Wales Tourist Board.
In addition, provision is made in Welsh Office votes for the payment of a wide range of grants to various local authorities, river authorities and water companies and for refunds of Selective Employment Tax to local authorities and other rate-levying bodies.
