86. Mr. Alan Lee Williamsasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what current South-East Asia Treaty Organisation activities Great Britain is involved in; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. William Rodgers:Her Majesty's Government are supporting a number of civil projects sponsored by the South-East Asia Treaty Organisation, including a Cholera Research Laboratory in Pakistan, a Hill Tribes Research Centre in Thailand, and an Agricultural Research project in the area. In addition, we customarily participate in the normal series of South-East Asia Treaty Organisation military exercises of which one, a communications exercise "Rama-soon", will be held in Thailand from the 4th to the 15th March.
