§ Dr. John Dunwoodyasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will take steps to ensure that, when a Serviceman is the only son in a family, he will be granted compassionate leave on the death of either of his parents.
§ Mr. Reynolds:Servicemen on overseas postings are already granted compassionate leave in these circumstances if their presence at home is essential. I see no need to change the existing regulations.
