§ Mr. Roy Jenkins:I refer the hon. Member to the statement by my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister on 16th January, published as Command Paper No. 3515, which shows how the Government will reduce by£300 million the earlier estimate of an increase of about£990 million in public expenditure in 1968–69 compared with the estimate for 1967–68.
