§ Mr. Carmichael:Experiments are now being done with a symbolic "school" warning sign which remains a blank until it is switched on, when it becomes internally illuminated in flashes. Below the triangle is a plate with the word "Patrol and stating the distance ahead. A variant of this has an amber light between the triangle and the plate. This flashes with the triangle.
