Mr. Lomas

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will list in the OFFICIAL REPORT the balance of payments figure for each year from 1946 to the latest available date.

The best available figures for 1946 to 1951 are published in the table on page 57 of "United Kingdom Balance of Payments, 1967 ", and the latest estimates for 1952 to 1966 are published in Table 1 on page 4 of the same document.

The latest estimates for January-September, 1967, are published in Economic Trends for December, 1967.
