§ 97. Sir Ian Orr-Ewingasked the Minister of Technology what is the total amount paid in cancellation charges for the TSR2 and its equipment; and what are the current cancellation estimates for the F 111 and the British equipment which was being developed and produced for it.
§ Mr. Stonehouse:Payments on all TSR2 contracts up to the time of cancellation amounted to £125 million. Since cancellation a further £53 million has been paid in respect of work done and other charges. With regard to the second part, I have nothing to add to the reply given by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Defence on 18th January.[Vol. 756, c. 666.]
