§ Mr. Denis Howell:In 1966– 67, grant-aid towards the recurrent expenditure of national voluntary sports organisations in England and Wales on administration and coaching was £557,275. This included grants totalling £4,130 to autonomous Welsh bodies. Many organisations, however, embrace both England and Wales and a full breakdown of the expenditure relating to each country is not available.
The provision made in the Estimates for 1967–68 is £665,000.
