§ 64. Miss Harvie Andersonasked the Minister of Labour what steps he is taking to find alternative employment for those becoming redundant in the Scottish factories of Remington Rand at Hillington and Thornliebank.
§ Mr. Fernyhough:Arrangements are being made for employment officers to go to the two factories to interview the workers before their employment comes to an end. Every possible assistance to Lind other jobs will be given, including the provision of training in suitable cases.
