§ Mr. Clark Hutchisonasked the Minister of Transport whether she will refuse her consent to the application to close the line from Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh.
§ Mr. John Morris:There is no current proposal to close the line between Dingwall and Kyle of Lochalsh, though it does not form part of the basic network for development. In considering any future closure proposal for it my right hon. Friend would have particular regard to the adequacy of road alternatives.
