Mr. Edward M. Taylorasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will take steps to ensure that criminal statistics are made available more promptly.
§ Mr. Ross:I am awaiting the recommendations of the Scottish Departmental Committee on Criminal Statistics which was appointed to review the present arrangements for the recording, reporting, collection and presentation of the Scottish criminal statistics and to report what changes, if any, are desirable.
